So many of us live such busy lives, it's great to schedule in a weekend / short break to get away from it all and recharge those batteries. For many areas of the country Norfolk is a 2 to 3 hour drive away and offers all the ingredients for a relaxing break away by the sea. 

Why not consider making a long weekend out of it ,and take a day off work, this way you can leave after work on Friday and stay on Sunday night allowing  you some time to continue your stay on Monday, travelling home Monday evening. You will feel like you have had a good break away.

For a romantic getaway why not try Rose Cottage at Burnham Thorpe, the cottage has a lovely master bedroom, and bathroom, beamed living room with log burner, there is a foodie village pub and the cottage is just a quick drive to the coast, and Burnham Market with its upmarket shops.

Bella's Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Stiffkey which has a well regarded foodie pub and walks taking you straight onto the coastal path. The cottage has a lovely master bedroom with king sized bed overlooking the garden and views beyond, the cosy living room has a log burner.

Lavender Cottage & Honey Barrel Cottage also located in Stiffkey offer charming interiors with log burners and have the added benefit of good sized dining rooms for those who fancy a romantic meal in.

Legion Cottage at Blakeney offers a high standard interior the master bedroom enjoys a good sized ensuite bathroom. Blakeney has a number of pubs serving good menus and a great seafood restaurant ' The Moorings'. 

One of our most popular romantic cottages is Harvey Cottage found a few miles inland having a delightful master bedroom and there is a great bathroom with a large tub to enjoy.

For great value try Garden Cottage just near Sheringham Park, ideal cottage for a couple, living room with log burner, a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and there is a sweet garden to sit out in.

Lavender Cottage at Stiffkey, walk to the village pub for a meal, quick drive to stunning sandy beaches at Wells & Holkham, double cottage bedroom, large walk in shower, snug living room with fire and good sized dining kitchen opening out into an outside courtyard.
